We’ve all been there: you’re standing in line at the store and suddenly you realize you forgot your wallet at home! No need to worry, your digital wallet is here to save the day. Digital wallet providers like Apple Pay®, Google Pay™ and Samsung Pay® offer a convenient and secure way for you to store your Fitzsimons Credit Union debit card on your phone to make daily purchases.
How does it work?
Open the digital wallet service provider’s app of your choice. Follow the prompts given to add your debit card on the app.
For detailed download instructions look below:
Once you are setup you can make payment with just a quick tap of a button or by tapping your phone on the payment screen.
Is it safe?
When you add a card to Samsung Pay, Apple Pay or Google Pay, the card number isn’t stored on your actual device. You’ll be assigned a unique Account Number, which is encrypted and securely stored on your phone. Every time you make a purchase, a unique transaction number is generated. Your card info is never shared with merchants, reducing the chance of your personal information being compromised during a data breach.
How do I know if my device is compatible?
Unfortunately, not all devices/carriers are compatible with each digital wallet provider. Please visit the links below to see if your device accepts (Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.)
Am I able to opt out of Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay?
Using a digital wallet provider is your choice and you can add/remove cards at any time.
What if I lose my phone?
If your phone (or another device) is ever lost or stolen, please reach out to us at 303-340-3343 or send us an email through the Online Banking Portal as soon as you can. We will temporarily block your card. You can also deactivate your device by placing it in “Lost Mode”. Look below for detailed instructions.
