I believe my identity has been compromised. What should I do?

Notify us as soon as possible so we may take action to protect your account(s) with us. Depending on the severity of the situation (whether you have confirmation of a compromise, or a suspicion), we may place alerts or blocks on your account(s) with us. We may also advise opening a new account. It is best to also place a freeze or a block on your credit report to protect yourself. This may be done by contacting any of the three credit reporting agencies. Once one agency has been contacted, the other agencies will be notified – you do not need to contact all three. Their phone numbers are as follows:

  • Experian: 888-397-3742
  • Transunion: 800-680-7289
  • Equifax: 800-525-6285

Monitor your account(s) with us and notify us of any suspicious or unauthorized activity as soon as possible. If any unauthorized activity has occurred, we will guide you on the next steps to take. It may also be beneficial to file a police report (for local residents, contact the Aurora Police Department at: ), or even to contact the attorney general ( ).
