Check Eligibility
Each child must be under 18, have a joint account owner who is 18 or older, and meet normal credit union membership requirements.

Make a deposit
Make a minimum $5 deposit. The one-time membership fee is waived for youth and teen accounts.

This offer is only available to members of Fitzsimons Credit Union. The bonus will be deposited into the member’s savings account within 10 business days after redemption. * Money Market Advantage Accounts pay dividends based on a balance limit rate table. The minimum average daily balance required to receive dividends is $2000.
** At least minimum balance must be obtained to receive dividends. For Share Savings accounts, a minimum balance of $250 must be maintained to receive dividends. See Standard Disclosure for balance to earn dividends.

Youth accounts under 12 years of age are not eligible to access or open a checking account. Youth accounts over 13 years old can open a checking account.

Upon turning age 13, a member’s account will automatically switch to a teen savings account. They will also be eligible to open a Teen Checking Account and get a Visa debit card.

2. Take a picture of your child’s birthday check, front and back, and send it to Marketing@FitzsimonsCU.com
Note: We will send you a message either by e-mail or phone to let you know your check has been deposited. Don’t forget to endorse your check on the back.Â
