Fitzsimons Credit Union Shares Update on TruStage® Cybersecurity Incident

Fitzsimons Credit Union has been notified that TruStage®, our insurance partner and provider of insurance and protection products available through the credit union, is responding to a recent cybersecurity incident affecting portions of its technology environment. TruStage® is actively investigating the incident and working to restore impacted systems.

As of July 22, 2026, this is the most current information available from TruStage®. At this time, TruStage® has not indicated that member personal information was accessed, acquired, or misused as a result of this incident. The investigation remains ongoing, and there is currently no estimated timeline for when all impacted services will be fully restored. Members may also experience difficulty accessing TruStage®’s website and certain online resources while restoration efforts are underway.

Fitzsimons Credit Union’s core systems, online banking, mobile banking, and member accounts have not been impacted by this incident.

Members with TruStage® products—including Accidental Death Insurance, Life Insurance, Auto Insurance, or Home Insurance—are encouraged to remain vigilant and use caution when responding to unsolicited phone calls, emails, or text messages requesting personal or financial information. Cybercriminals may attempt to take advantage of this situation by impersonating TruStage® or other trusted organizations.

How to Protect Yourself

  • Do not provide personal or financial information in response to unsolicited communications.
  • Do not click on links or open attachments from unexpected emails or text messages.
  • If you receive a suspicious communication claiming to be from TruStage®, contact TruStage® directly using a trusted phone number or visit its official website.
